Ruined Soul – WackenTube video premiere for the song “Rewind” on Tuesday
On Tuesday the 5th of June there will be a new video world premiere on
WackenTube!
Ruined Soul from Gothenborg, Sweden will release the music video for the track
"Rewind".
The song was taken from their album
"My Dying Day" which was released back in April 2010 and is the second music video from the album.
The video was shot March 16, and was once again filmed by Greenworks (
www.greenworks.se )
Recently,
Ruined Soul became a band. Johnny's statement:
“Yes, Ruined Soul was supposed to be a solo-project but… no more!
The urge of playing these songs live and spending more time on Ruined Soul has grown since day one.
I really feel that it's time to get this machine started.
I can't wait to get this machine going and get out there and play for you guys!
The guys that complete the band are the right guys to play with, so I'm pretty excited.

W:O:A Metal Maters energised by Relentless Energy Drink – And the winner is…
The final voting of this year´s Metal Masters Competition (energised by Relentless Energy Drink) is over and here we go with the announcement of the winner!
We granted you almost 3 months of time to vote your favorite bands to the top and just about 100 bands participated during the first voting period.
Three of them made it to the final voting period which started on the 1st of May. These bands were Mythika, GOD and Winterstorm.
Until yesterday these bands fought a head-to-head race to gain the highly coveted live slot at this year´s Wacken Open Air.
As in the last year the winner was not determined by the number of votes but by the average rating.
However - There can be only one! With a small majority of points
WINTERSTORM left it´s competitors GOD and Mythika behind and gained the well deserved victory and therewith the title
W:O:A METAL MASTER 2012!
With their victory Winterstorm catches the Thursday live slot on Wacken´s W.E.T Stage.
At this point we want to thank all the bands which participated in big number on this contest and also the countless fans which took part in the voting. Without you this contest wouldn´t be possible!

Here we go again! W:O:A Metal Masters energized by Relentless Energy Drink - your chance to win a live slot at W:O:A 2012
What exactly is W:O:A Metal Masters and how does it work?
Metal Masters is an online voting platform for music videos and this year will be the third time it will happen. Here you can present your best video to the masses of metal fans and let them judge. But that's not all: the band with the best-rated video wins a live slot at the W:O:A 2012.
How you can participate:
First, you have to register at wackentube.com and upload your video in the category Metal Masters.
IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY THAT YOU REGISTER WITH YOUR BAND NAME!!!!!
Now boost your business and make the metalheads vote for you!
Which bands can take part?
Basically, every band can participate. Each band member must be older than 16. Also bands which already have a record deal or took part in the W:O:A Metal Battle (but didn't win) can take part in this voting.
When is the start and the deadline of the voting?
The first voting starts at the 05th of March 2012 and ends at the 29th of April 2012 at 11:59 pm. The three best rated bands of this voting will take part in the final voting. The final voting will start at the 1st of May 2012 and ends at the 21th of May 2012 at 11:59 pm.
How can I promote my band the best way?
We offer you a 'Vote for us' banner. The source code can be found below your uploaded video. You and your fans can copy this code and embed it on any website. People can click on this banner to watch your video and vote for you.
Here are some important information you should keep in mind:
- Every band is allowed to upload only one video.
- Only the band can upload their video.
- If you create an account at wackentube.com we require your contact data so we can contact you in case that you win.
YOU MUST ENTER YOUR BAND NAME AS A USER NAME!
- W:O:A will not bear the expenses for travel or accommodation.
- The prize you can win is a live slot for your band at W:O:A (backline - drums, bass amp, Guitar amp and so on will be provided) which includes a free entry to the festival for you and your band.
- In case that two or more bands have the same rating at the end of the online voting the most-rated of these bands will win.
- The winning band of the previous year is excluded from the competition but they are allowed to participate in the voting in the following year.
- Legal action is out of the question.
