Infektion is an extreme metal band based in Bendigo, Victoria. Since forming in late December 2008 Infektion has played live continuously and has recorded & released seven demos and have a professional ep planned for mid 2011. Infektion strives to create aggressive
music with an atmosphere that is reflective of the darker side of humanity, exploring such themes as hatred, betrayal, death and sadness. Infektion despises trendy scenes both
mainstream and kvlt and has no interest in conforming its writing style to fit
into the popular definitions of
particular genres ; something the band sees as nothing but a marketing pitch brought about by record companies in order to sell music product. Infektion will always stay true to themselves and continue to piss in the face of tradition and trendiness.
